HP introduces the Pavilion Mini Desktop, a compact desktop computer with a height of just 52mm. The device weighs 730g and fits in the palm of your hands, it runs Windows 8.1 and comes with an Intel Core i3 processor with integrated graphics, 8GB DDR3 memory, a 1TB HDD, and integrated WiFi plus Bluetooth.

An optical disc drive is not included, HP argues optical discs are rarely used these days and recommends using an external USB disc drive if you really need this functionality. Outputs include DisplayPort and HDMI but other than that HP didn't really share much of the device's specifications. The Pavilion Mini Desktop starts shipping in February 2015 from 499EUR (incl. mouse and keyboard).
