OCZ Vector 180 SSD performance details revealed

TPU also got to see OCZ's Vector 180 SSD, which is based on the new in-house Barefoot 3 M00 controller with high-level performance tuning. The disk uses Toshiba A19 MLC NAND flash memory with 50GB/day write endurance rating.

To be available in 240GB, 480GB and 960GB capacities, the Vector 180 promises read speeds of up to 550MB/s, write speeds of up to 530MB/s, 100,000 4k random read IOPS and 95,000 4k random write IOPS.

The disk will ship with OCZ's 5-year ShieldPlus warranty.
