The Inq heard from sources close to ATI the X800GT graphics card will arrive on August 8th. It is said ATI will ship 60,000 X800GT cards in the first four weeks after launch to catch the back-to-school sales wave.

The X800GT will feature eight pipes and will either have a R423 or R480 core. There will be a 128MB version with 475MHz core and 250MHz GDDR3 memory, and a 256MB version with 475MHz core and 490MHz GDDR3 memory.
Although ATI's partners are unlikely to offer these products in the USA, because the dollar is the universal currency of the IT trade, it will have an estimated sales price of $150, said the wizards of Lombok.
The X800GT is said to be a limited edition which will only be available to partners as HIS, Gecube, Power Color and Sapphire.
