Creative Zen Vision to retail for $399

Mobilemag reports Creative started taking pre-orders for its Creative Zen Vision. This portable media player has a 3.7-inch SharpPix high-resolution 640x480 colour screen for sharp and vivid photo and video playback.

The device has a magnesium enclosure so you won't fell a hollow plastic feeling when you touch it. The Zen Vision incorporates a 30GB HDD and supports MP3, WMA, WMA with DRM and Linear PCM WAV audio. It also supports AVI, MPEG 1/2/4-SP, WMV 9, Motion-JPEG, DivX 2, 4 and 5 and XviD3 video.

According to creative the removable Lithium-Ion battery will last for 15 hours when playing audio while video will result in 4.5 hours of battery life.
>br> The device also supports Compact Flash Card Type I & II types so you can instantly view JPEG pictures from your digital camera. And additionally, it also has a composite video to watch your movies on a bigger screen.

Other features include FM radio and Outlook mail and contacts sync. The Creative Zen Vision 30GB will be available in white and black for $399.
