Over the years people have benchmarked many ordinary products for their potential as thermal paste. To celebrate international Nutella day, Cooler Master decided to check how well the hazelnut chocolate spread matches up as thermal paste for a CPU with a 125W TDP AMD FX-8150.

While we doubt the long-term performance will be any good, Nutella seems decent enough for a one-time application as it kept load temperatures at 50°C.
Yesterday was International #Nutella day. What better way to celebrate the existence of world’s most delicious chocolate spread than to smear it on your CPU! We did a test to see how well Nutella could cool a CPU, so you don’t have to ; ) The results may surprise you..
