Intel silently rolled out the Core i3-4170T, a new dual-core budget processor based on the 22nm Haswell core. The new chip offers a 3.2GHz base clock, 3MB cache and Hyper-Threading to create four logical CPU cores. One of the special things is the TDP of just 35W, quite a bit lower than the standard 54W TDP of the other i3-41xx parts.

Pricing is expected to be similar to the i3-4160 and sometime later this month Intel will also roll out the i3-4170, which will be the fastest part in this series with a 3.7GHz base clock.
