ThermalRight introduces the Macho X2, a new limited special edition version of the Macho Rev.B with two black TY 142 fans. Besides the low-noise fan model and configuration there doesn't seem to be a major difference versus the Macho Rev.B. Pricing will be just under 50EUR.
With the Macho X2 we offer a limited special edition of our award-winning Macho Rev. B. Two black TY 142 fans (800 rpm, 15 dB(a), 77m³/h) guarantee a powerful, yet silent cooling of your CPU.

Like the Macho Rev. B the Macho X2 features the enlarged, nickel plated, and polished base (53 x 40 mm), which we only used for our high-end models in the past. The heatsink shines in silver nickel plating and features a black anodized top fin.

The Macho X2 comes with two TY 142 fans with double-ball bearing. This not only allows for an even better cooling performance of the highly regarded cooler. The use of two fans guarantees also an extremely silent operation. An enclosed Y-cable allows it to operate both fans on a single connector on the mainboard.

A universal mounting kit is included with the Macho X2 that supports all current Intel- and AMD sockets (Intel LGA775/1366/1156/1155/2011/1150/2011-3 und AMD AM2/AM2+/AM3/FM1/FM2/FM2+).

By the way: For users, who want to add a second fan to their existing Macho, the Macho fan clips are now sold separately.
