Rumors are circulating online that NVIDIA's GeForce GTX 950 card will land on Thursday, August 20th.

Based on the GM206-250 "Maxwell" variant, this mid-range card replaces the GeForce GTX 750 lineup. It's believed to feature 768 CUDA cores and a 128-bit memory bus with 2GB GDDR5 memory.

The clockspeeds are reportedly 1089MHz for the core with a 1266MHz Boost and 6600MHz memory. The card is larger and more power hungry than the GeForce GTX 750 Ti that it replaces, the latter has a 60W TDP whereas the GeForce GTX 950 has a 90W TDP. That's 30W less than the GM206-300 based GeForce GTX 960 by the way.

Display outputs reportedly include 1x DVI, 1x HDMI and 3x DP. Pricing is still unknown.
