In South Korea Apple's iPod is far lagging behind in the local digital audio player market.

In terms of revenue the biggest player was ReignCom (iRiver) with a 35 percent share, followed by Samsung at 14 percent and Cowon at 13 percent. Apple has to do it with a small 1.8 percent of the South Korean digital audio player market in terms of revenue.

In unit sales Apple comes in at the 13th place with a market share of less than 2 percent, compared with ReignCom with 31 percent and Samsung with 14 percent.

Obviously the South Korean consumers don't really prefer the iPod. More details at Yahoo
