Intel to cust Pentium 4 6xx prices on August 14

DigiTimes reports Intel is planning to cut prices of its Pentium 4 630 and 640 on August 14 to better compete with AMD's Athlon 64 offerings.

The company also plans to launch the Pentium 4 662 and 672 processors in the fourth quarter of this year.
