AMD's Roy Taylor shares photos on Twitter of a new high-end DX12 solution suitable for VR gaming. No further details were shared but it appears the card in this system is the upcoming (and long-delayed) Radeon R9 Fury X2. According to previous rumors, AMD decided to delay this card to launch it together with the arrival of the first VR headsets because that's one of the few target markets where the Fury X2 makes a lot of sense.

There are no good shots of the card yet but it seems that contrary to expectations, the Fury X2 uses air cooling and not watercooling.
