A brief announcement from AMD as the company started shipping two new processors.

First up is the A10-7890K, the company's fastest APU to date. This 95W TDP quad-core chip is clocked at 4.1GHz and features a 4.3GHz Turbo. Besides the higher clockspeed this unlocked APU is largely similar to the A10-7870K, it has R7 integrated graphics with eight cores and a frequency of 866MHz. One new thing is that the A10-7890K ships with AMD's Wraith cooler. Pricing is $164.99.

Next is the Athlon X4 880K, an $94.88 unlocked quad-core processor with 4.2GHz clockspeed and 4.2GHz Boost. The X4 880K has a 95W TDP, no integrated graphics and a "near silent" 125W AMD Thermal Solution cooler. We hear this is basically a slightly modified version of the Wraith cooler, with the fan shroud.
