Microsoft published a new trailer that showcases the capabilities of the DirectX 12 API. The software giant promises up to 50 percent improvement in overall CPU usage, better visual quality, reduced latency, smoother framerate, and better performance. The video shows off some of the first DirectX 12 games but overall its rather uninformative.
DirectX 12 is a ground-breaking Microsoft technology that gives game developers the ability to harness the full capabilities of a PC’s GPU(s) and raise the bar on graphic fidelity and immersive gameplay.
