NVIDIA's C51, an integrated PCI Express chipset for the AMD K8 platform, is expected to be launched on September 20. The company is also preparing an Intel version of this chipset, called the C60, but this one will come later.
The release of the C51 should help Nvidia address the loss of Microsoft Xbox 360 orders, which ended last quarter. According to Nvidia, the loss of Xbox orders should leave a US$70 million hole in its revenues this quarter.
