While the market for this tool will likely be small, there's an interesting Kickstarter running for a device that aims to make the removal of an Intel heatspreader an easy and safe task. Called the Rockit 88, this tool promises to let you delid your CPU with complete confidence.

It works on Haswell, Devil's Canyon, Skylake and more. Backers who pledge $35 or more will receive a complete kit.
