Regardless of ATI’s plans with R520, it looks like the company has made some progress catching up to NVIDIA’s 6600GT. Recently ATI introduced its X800GT graphics adapter to the market, which finally presents real competition to the mid-range 6600GT. Even though the X800GT’s performance is quite impressive and the price is looking very good, I don’t see how ATI can benefit from this launch when the target is a last generation product." Read on at
