SilverStone Strider Platinum goes 1000W and 1200W

Just a quick blurb to inform you that SilverStone has added 1000W and 1200W options to its line of modular Strider Platinum power supplies. Both models are 100 percent modular and feature 80Plus Platinum certification and a silent 139mm fan that doesn't spin until the PSU load exceeds 40 percent. The 1000W version has a +12V line capable of delivering up to 83A and the 1200W model ups this to 100A.

Suggested retail pricing of the 1000W and 1200W versions is 194EUR and 244EUR, respectively.

To meet the ever higher requirements imbued by professional users and enthusiasts alike, SilverStone created the Strider Platinum series power supplies. The Strider Platinum models are built on similar platform as the award-winning Strider Gold series but with even higher efficiency ratings.

In addition to 80 PLUS Platinum level efficiency, the ST1000-PT and ST1200-PT are equipped with SilverStone’s own Air Penetrator fan, which has superb cooling ability and an excellent FF141 fan filter with magnets is even included in the package for use to reduce dust buildup. It is also incredibly quiet with the ability to run in fanless mode. If the loading condition is below 40%, the fan in the power supply can remain off for silent operation during idle or low powered computing activities. Designed for high power consumption graphics cards, multiple individual one-to-one PCI-E 8/6pin connectors and 16 sets of SATA connectors are included for easy component expansion. Other great features such as ±3% regulation, powerful single +12V rail, and 24/7 continuous power output are standard as well.
