A bit earlier than expected, NVIDIA launches its GeForce GTX 1060 3GB video card. Besides shipping with just half the amount of memory as the original GeForce GTX 1060, this version also has fewer CUDA cores (1152 versus 1280). All other specifications, including the clockspeeds (1506MHz core, 1709MHz Boost and 8GHz memory) remain the same.

The official price of the GeForce GTX 1060 3GB is $199, with most custom cards expected to cost between $199 and $229.

I will post some of the custom GTX 1060 3GB press releases later today, but due to time constraints I will not be able to cover them all. There also some more Zen coverage on its way.
