A series of tests confirm the memory capacity isn't the only difference between the 32GB and the higher-capacity versions of Apple iPhone 7 and 7 Plus. A few weeks ago GSMArena discovered the 32GB has dramatically lower bandwidth and now a new investigation discovered this was not a fluke.

A video from Unbox Therapy found that in the PerformanceTest Mobile app, the 32GB iPhone 7 has a write speed of just 42MB/s, making it almost eight times slower than the 128GB version, which writes at 341MB/s.
Hilsenteger then performed a real-world speed test, which included transferring movies from a MacBook to the iPhone using a USB cable. While the 256GB model took two minutes and 34 seconds to complete the 4.2GB file transfer, the 32GB iPhone 7 needed a total of three minutes and 40 seconds for the same transmission.
This is a surprise for some as the big difference in memory performance isn't mentioned by Apple anywhere, and of course the 32GB edition is the most-sold model.
