With all eyes on the US elections today, there seems to be very little tech news today so I'll post a rumor from a couple of days ago about AMD's Zen lineup. This rumor originates from Italian tech site Bits and Chips, they've made some correct predictions in the past but sometimes their sources are very wrong, so take this news with a grain of salt.

Anyway, the site reports AMD is working on at least one eight-core Zen processor for overclockers. These chips will be AMD's answer to the Intel K-series, and may be sold without bundled cooler.

The Zen enthusiast parts will stick to a 95W TDP but will reportedly offer higher overclocking margins and a higher base frequency.
