Microsoft and Transmeta working on portable Xbox?

The Inq talks about an interesting piece of speculation it heard at the IDF. A few weeks ago Microsoft started cooperation with Transmeta and they have seconded 30 engineers for Microsoft.

According to industry analyst Peter Glaskowsky one of the most likely reasons why Microsoft is working together with Transmeta may be to develop a handheld version of the Xbox 360.
