At the forums of Dutch tech site Tweakers, a marketing director from MSI reveals the upcoming AMD Radeon RX Vega cards will use "a shit ton of power".

The post confirms AMD is finally sharing RX Vega details with its add-in-board (AIB) partners, about five weeks before the expected launch. The MSI guy reveals he's seen the specifications of the RX Vega lineup and that MSI is now working to get everything ready for the launch.

He also hints that high power draw is not necessarily a bad thing if the card delivers enough performance. No specifics are shared but we do know that AMD's Vega Frontier Edition has a TDP of 300W (air cooled) and 375W (water cooled).
