Google makes AR offensive with ARCore

Google is showing of a new augmented reality (AR) project called ARCore. This is a software development kit (SDK) that brings AR capabilities to existing and future Android-based smartphones. The key selling point here is that it works with any Android 7.0 or later phone, no new hardware is required. You can check out a video demonstration below.
