Samsung launches thumb width Sense X1 notebook

Samsung presents a new ultra-thin laptop which is thumb width (23mm thick) with a weight of 3.5 pounds. The Sense X1 notebook has a 14-inch WSXGA display and features Intel's Pentium M 753 processor, 512MB DDR2 RAM, 80GB HDD and ATI's X300 graphics card with 128MB memory.

The laptop has a waterproof keyboard that slips down to the front edge of the notebook, Samsung refers to this as 'SuperRelax' mode.

The Sense X1 promises a battery life of 13.5 (!!) hours.
