Cougar Puri keyboards feature magnetic protection cover

Cougar showcases Puri, a new line of keyboards that ships in a full-size and a tenkeyless variant. The Puri keyboards feature real Cherry MX mechanical switches, they offer white LED backlighting with various light effects, a detachable cable, NKRO support, and 3-step height and angle adjustment.

There are not a lot of bells and whistles on this keyboad but one interesting feature is the magnetic cover. This is something we haven't seen in a very long time. Cougar ships a magnetically attached cover with the keyboard to protect it both at home and on the go against dust, liquids, cat hairs, etc. Interesting idea, but it remains to be seen how practical this is.

Cougar says these peripheral will ship within about four weeks, the full-sized Puri should ship for $79.99 while the Puri TKL should cost about $69.99.
