Intel and Philips team up to deliver media center

Intel and Philips have teamed up to deliver Viiv home entertainment systems. These media centers from Philips will feature Intel processors, chipsets and software and will enable consumers to store and share photos, music and video in a single system.

The Philips Showline Media Center enables users to watch two TV channels at once and is also equipped with a large 250GB HDD to store media. The operating system of this device will be Microsoft's Windows Media CEnter Edition.
