Here's some information about one of Samsung's upcoming MP3 players with XM Satellite Radio capability. This will be the Samsung Nexus line which will come with a capacity of either 512MB or 1GB. Each model also ships with the XM Satellite Radio home docking kit, allowing users to receive XM Satellite Radio at home. This digital content can also be stored on the player when connected to a home or car dock.
The Samsung neXus player enables you to store songs from your personal digital music collection, including digital music files (MP3 and WMA files) purchased from a variety of digital music services. With the Samsung neXus players, XM subscribers can “tag” the songs they hear on XM for purchase through the XM + Napster online service.
These players will be available in the last quarter of this year and should be attractively priced. Both devices measure 3.4" (H) x 1.9" (W) x 0.7" (D).
