AMD Ryzen CPUs get a price cut

Lots of interesting tidbits were revealed at AMD's CES 2018 press conference. But lets start with the price cuts that were announced for the current generation!

Some of AMD's Ryzen chips already received price cuts over the holiday season and this reduced pricing is now permanent. There are some hefty cuts in here, the Ryzen 7 1800X for example falls from $499 to $349!

Here's a quick overview of the new pricing:

Threadripper 1900X: $449
Ryzen 7 1800X: $349
Ryzen 7 1700X: $309
Ryzen 7 1700: $299
Ryzen 5 1600X: $219
Ryzen 5 1600: $189
Ryzen 5 1500X: $174
