In order to enjoy movies in all their glory all that is needed is a device known as the EPSON EMP-TWD1, which is making its debut at the IFA 2005. This latest addition to the Epson Home Cinema series combines a DVD player, a Surround Sound system and a projector. Fifth generation Epson 3LCD technology produces a crystal clear picture. The unit is made complete by the addition of a DVD player and a JVC sound system.

In order to watch the big movies at home just plug in to the mains, insert a DVD and press the start button, and then let it roll. One major advantage is that the room does not have to be enormous. A 1.20 m picture can be projected from a distance of just 1.5 metres and this is also one of the advantages over plasma and LCD screens.

Like all Epson home cinema projectors the EMP-TWD1 is also provided with a lens-shift function, which ensures that the all-in-one unit does not even have to be placed central to the wall. This function regulates horizontal and vertical picture alignment without any distortion.
