Last week news emerged that Chinese Bitcoin giant Bitmain is currently one of TSMC's largest clients and now we hear that another cryptocurrency miner placed big orders at Samsung's foundry business.

There's not a lot of information, all we know that Samsung confirmed it has begun mass production of ASIC chips for a cryptocurrency client.
“Samsung’s foundry business is currently engaged in the manufacturing of cryptocurrency mining chips. However we are unable to disclose further details regarding our customers,” a company spokesperson told TechCrunch.
Bitmain and Canaan Creative use TSMC for their ASIC chip production. South Korean media claims Samsung is making the chips for an unnamed Chinese distribution partner.
