AMD celebrated opening of its new HQ

Over on Twitter, AMD CEO Lisa Su informed the world that the company has now officially moved to its new headquarters. This decision was made in 2016, the company hereby ends its 48-year run in Sunnyvale. The former AMD HQ site will be turned into a housing project, with a mix of high-and medium-density buildings. AMD leased the property from The Irvine Company.

AMD's new HQ is located in Santa Clara, it's a newly-built facility also developed and operated by The Irvine Company.
