Epson showed of a prototype of a new small mini projector at the IFA show in Berlin, Germany. This projector uses a LED light source and measures only 13.8 x 10.0 centimeters. It weights 500g and like you can see in the picture it fits perfectly in your hand.

Koichi Kubota, Epson's General Manager, claims projectors with 3LCD technology have advantages in terms of bright, natural images that are easy on the eyes.

A LED light source has several advantages over conventional lamps, including immediate projection readiness, a longer running time and a swift switch-off.
