ATI's R520 to be called Radeon X1800

It looks like ATI's R520 will be called Radeon X1800 when it will be launched in early October.

Versions with 16, 24 and 32 pipes have left the fab but it seems for the moment ATI has only been able to make 10 (yes ten) pieces of the 32 pipes version. This 32 pipes version should be faster than the GeForce 7800 GTX but I don't think ATI will be able to launch it because of the extremely limited supply.

The core of the R520 is clocked at 650MHz (or above) and the 1.26ns GDDR3 memory will settle at 1400MHz.
