AMD silently adds 4K Netflix support

Without much fanfare, AMD added 4K Netflix support for Polaris with the Radeon Software Adrenalin Edition 18.4.1 drivers. Of course, driver support isn't the only thing needed to make 4K Netflix work on your PC.

You also need a display with HDCP 2.2 protocol support and you're limited to using the Microsoft Edge browser.

AMD is the last of the big three to add support for 4K Netflix, Intel and NVIDIA already had support for this feature. Vega and AMD's desktop APUs will receive support at a later point.
