It took roughly 11 months but now we finally have evidence of mobile versions of AMD's Vega GPU. Acer is prepping the Predator Helios 500, a new laptop that is available in Intel and AMD variants. The Intel series features up to Intel Core i9-8950HK processor options with NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070 graphics, while the AMD alternative offers up to AMD Ryzen 7 2700 processing power with AMD Radeon RX Vega 56 graphics.

As VideoCardz reports, this is the first true high-performance AMD-based laptop in years. Pricing starts at $2,000 for models with the Core i7-8750H, the pricing of the i7-8950HK / Ryzen 2700 models is not known.
The Intel+NVIDIA option will support G-Sync technology, while AMD solution will give you FreeSync support. All Helios 500 laptops are equipped with FullHD 144Hz panels.
