Igor Wallossek from Tom's Hardware Germany is back with some fresh rumors about NVIDIA's next-gen gaming GPUs. Take this with a grain of salt, as there's still a lot of uncertainty about NVIDIA's upcoming lineup.

Either way, Wallossek is convinced the next-gen GPUs from NVIDIA are based on Turing. He explains it now looks like Turing will launch a little bit later than he previously reported, and that the workstation cards may arrive first.

This would be unusual because the consumer cards typically arrive before the workstation cards, but word on the street is that NVIDIA plans to reveal a new professional card lineup in mid-August at the Siggraph 2018 event in Vancouver.

The other rumor involves a launch of the Turing-based consumer card lineup at Gamescom in Cologne. That event is scheduled August 21-25. Guess we'll see in a couple of months.
