AMD first-gen Ryzen Threadripper CPUs get aggressive price cuts

TechPowerUp spreads news that AMD has lowered the suggested retail pricing of its first-generation Ryzen Threadripper processors.

There are some pretty steep price cuts! The Ryzen Threadripper 1950X drops from $999 to $799, a 20 percent price cut.

More impressive is the Ryzen Threadripper 1920X, which now has a MSRP of just $399, a massive 50 percent cut.

Lastly, the Ryzen Threadripper 1900X drops to $299, a 33 percent cut versus the previous MSRP.
