Intel 9th Gen Core CPUs in short supply

HardOCP writes Intel's new Core i9-9900K processor is in short supply. Both NewEgg and Amazon are unable to fulfill all pre-orders because the firms did not receive their inventory as expected on October 19, 2018. Fresh supply from Intel is expected to arrive on October 26, 2018.

The shortage is also driving up prices. While the Core i9-9900K is supposed to cost $488, the actual retail price at places like NewEgg is now $579.99. Similarly, the Core i7-9700K and Core i5-9600K are also selling for more than their MSRP.
