noticed Jon Carvill took up a marketing position at Intel as Vice President, Marketing, Technology Leadership. Carvill had a brief stint at the chip giant in the past, and has worked for companies like Facebook, Vevo, Qualcomm, Globalfoundries, AMD, and ATI. HardOCP's Kyle Bennett speculates Intel's marketing unit will benefit from this new hire:
Undoubtedly Intel marketing has been stepping on its own feet for a while in terms of messaging and narrative, so I guess we will see if Carvill makes things any better. Interestingly enough, Jon was one of the first PR representatives HardOCP worked with at ATi so many years ago. We are very much looking forward to see what direction he takes Intel's marketing in. We got $20 on it being a very good one.
