Palminfocenter heard Palm is preparing to release two new PDAs this Fall. This includes the Tungsten X and the Zire 22.

According to their sources the Tungsten T5 will be replaced by the Tungsten X on October 11th.

The Tungsten X (which may be a codename) will have a 312MHz Intel XScale processor and will run Palm OS Garnet 5.4.9. It will have a 320 x 480 pixel display, 128MB non-volatile memory, 802.11 Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 1.2 and a SDIO expansion slot.
