Intel China posted new details of the Intel Xe consumer video card at the company's official Weibo page. The Weibo post reveals Xe graphics cards will launch in 2020 and that the first models will be using the 10nm process. A second-generation is expected to follow in 2021, these cards will feature a 7nm GPU with hardware-accelerated ray-tracing support. Intel China also reiterates that the chip giant will have two separate designs, one for the enterprise market and one for the consumer market.

Together with the news, Intel China released some renders that show a very fancy looking card with a dual-fan cooling solution and a backlit Xe logo. The renders show two 8-pin PCIe power connectors, as well as three DisplayPorts and one HDMI port.
It also sports a metal backplate with lighting with Intel’s blue signature colour. Hence, lighting could also be RGB. The Intel Xe graphics card’s dual 8-pin PCIe power connectors are on the other rear end of the graphics card, not on the side which is the common layout with NVIDIA and Radeon graphics cards. The Intel Xe-based graphics card sports three DisplayPorts and one HDMI port on its rear I/O.
