Star Trek: Picard is a TNG reunion (video)

In January 2020, CBS All Access will start airing Star Trek: Picard. This new Star Trek show brings Jean-Luc Picard out of a 20-year retirement and is packed with familiar characters from Star Trek: The Next Generation. Besides a bunch of new characters, we will see the return of Star Trek: TNG regulars like Data, Seven of Nine, Riker, and Deanna Troi.

Picard will be more of a psychological show, that focuses on how Picard deals with his emeritus years.

According to executive producer Alex Kurtzman, this show will have a slower and more meditative pace than Star Trek: Discovery.
