Chinese foundry aims to offer 12nm FinFET risk production by year-end

DigiTimes reports Chinese semiconductor foundry SMIC is getting closer to offering 12nm FinFET production.

The company recently kicked off 14nm volume production and plans to do 12nm FinFET risk production by the end of this year.

SMIC is also working on its own 10nm and 7nm EUV process technology.
