Earlier this year HP launched the hw6510/15 series which feature a 312MHz processor, 1.3 megapixel digital camera, miniSD and SDIO memory card slots, Bluetooth connectivity and a built-in GPS with TomTom navigation software.
These phones were touted as Palm Treo killers but they fell short because of their non-standard 240 x 240 pixels display, lack of Wi-Fi, old operating system and buggy keyboard.
HP tries to address this issues with the 6700 series (6710 and 6715). This device will feature Wi-Fi (but no SDIO), more ROM memory and the Windows Mobile 5.0 operating system.
