Chinese smartphone maker Xiaomi shows off world's first wireless smartphone charging solution that can handle up to 40W. Using the fast charging solution, consumers can recharge a phone with a 4000mAh battery to 100 percent in just 40 minutes. Charging to just under 60 percent takes a mere 20 minutes.
It's unknown when we can expect the first phones that will support this wireless fast-charging technology. The current Xiaomi Mi 10 and Mi 9 Pro 5G support 30W wireless charging.
