ASUS adds white ROG STRIX 850W PSU

TechPowerUp noticed ASUS has a new white-silverish ROG STRIX 850W power supply Previously, the company's top PSU model was a 750W edition. The PSU has an Axial-Tech fan design and uses a single +12V rail design. It has 80Plus Gold certification. Perhaps more white PSUs from ASUS will follow in the near future. Pricing is unknonw.

Under the hood, the ROG Strix 850 W features a single +12V rail design with 80 Plus Gold rated efficiency, full-bridge LLC resonant converter, sync rectifier, and DC-to-DC switching. Among its connectors are a 24-pin ATX, two 4+4 pin EPS, six 6+2 pin PCIe power, ten SATA power, and three Molex.
