VideoCardz got its hands on a bunch of photos and details of upcoming Z490 motherboards from ASUS. First up there's the ASUS TUF Z490-PLUS, which you can find over here. Next is the Z490 PRIME series, which can be found at this link. Details about the ROG STRIX Z490 can be found on this page and then there's also the ASUS ROG MAXIMUS XII series over here.

ASUS ROG MAXIMUS XII will feature the four models pictured below (ROG Maximus XII Formula, ROG Maximus XII Extreme, ROG Maximus XII Hero (Wi-Fi) and ROG Maximus XII Apex) as well as a (presumably white) Extreme Glacial All versions have 16-phase power stage design and support DDR4-4800 OC, here's a bit more about the ROG Maximus XII features:
The datasheet clearly confirms that the Z490 ASUS motherboards have PCI-Express 3.0, not 4.0, although some rumors indicate that Z490 motherboards already have 4.0 support, but only for the Rocket Lake-S series.

All motherboards except Hero have 2.5 Gbe network card. Formula and Extreme also have 10Gbe networking. The ROG Maximus XII Extreme is the only E-ATX motherboard from the ROG series.
