How high can you clock an AMD Ryzen 3 3100? TechPowerUp notes an all-core OC of 4.50GHz doesn't seem to be a problem with this new $99 budget chip with unlocked multiplier. This overclock was performed on a relatively cheap ASUS TUF Gaming B450M-Pro motherboard. Additionally, Twitter user _rogame also discovered an all-core OC of 4.40GHz that was done on the MSI B450M Bazooka Plus motherboard. No details on the type of cooling used though.
_rogame unearthed a Futuremark SystemInfo database submission confirming a 4.50 GHz all-core overclock, achieved on an inexpensive ASUS TUF Gaming B450M-Pro motherboard, with 16 GB of dual-channel DDR4-3200 memory. Also, SMT is left untouched, as the processor has all 8 logical processors (threads) enabled.
