Microsoft fixed 111 vulnerabilities on Patch Tuesday

This month's Patch Tuesday fixed 111 vulnerabilities in Microsoft software. It's the third month in a row that Microsoft's monthly round of patching fixes over 100 bugs. This month, the updates include fixes for 13 bugs that are rated as critical. Another 91 bug are deemed "important", three are rated "moderate" and the remaining four are marked as "low" priority.

The critical updates include three flaws in the Edge browser, three remode code execution flaws in SharePoint, and a remote code executon bug in Windows.
Three Critical Microsoft Edge vulnerabilities were patched by Microsoft this month that could allow an attacker to perform remote code execution by tricking a user into visiting a maliciously crafted web site.

  • CVE-2020-1096 - Microsoft Edge PDF Remote Code Execution Vulnerability

    If exploited, these vulnerabilities could allow the attacker to execute commands on the computer with full user rights.
