AMD Ryzen 9 3900XT to offer 4.8GHz Boost?

Clockspeeds of the upcoming Matisse Refresh from AMD are making the rounds. As always, take these rumors with a grain of salt. These new chips are expected to be introduced on June 16th, with product availability on July 7th.

It's said that AMD will reveal three new parts with the "XT" monniker, which was previously exclusively used for Radeon video cards:
  • Ryzen 9 3900XT: 4.1GHz base clock, 4.8GHz Boost

  • Ryzen 7 3800XT: 4.2GHz base clock, 4.7GHz Boost

  • Ryzen 5 3600XT: 4.0GHz base clock, 4.7GHz Boost
